Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi: what is on in 2026-27 and what to know

Wikipedia gives Etihad Arena a capacity of 18,000 and an opening in January 2021, in the Yas Bay Waterfront district of Yas Island. It is owned by Miral and operated by Ethara, was designed by HOK and has hosted UFC events, boxing, NBA preseason games and concerts. Naming rights are held by Etihad Airways.

Comedy opens the season: Russell Peters on 25 October (from AED 275), Mo Amer on 6 November, Maz Jobrani on 7 November and Aries Spears on 21 November (from AED 120). Riverdance plays 31 October and 1 November, from AED 215.

Hans Zimmer is on 13 November, Tarkan on 27 November, Ramy Sabry on 28 November, Andrea Bocelli on 2 December and Mariah Carey on 12 December.

The Harry Potter film concert plays 5 and 6 February, from AED 120. The Phantom of the Opera runs 10 to 28 March, from AED 240, its first run in Abu Dhabi according to The National.

The arena is on Yas Island, so on Grand Prix week and big concert nights expect slow traffic at the end of the night. For the nights around 2 to 6 December, plan transport and book hotels early. Use the arena's own events page or an approved ticket platform, because fake sites are a known problem.
