October
The Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad plays Dubai Opera on 24 October, from AED 195. The next night, the Indian playback singer Shaan plays Coca-Cola Arena, from AED 150.
November
The Pakistani singer Atif Aslam plays Coca-Cola Arena on Friday 27 November. The National reports tickets from AED 350, and Time Out Dubai reported a lower starting price earlier, so check the arena for what is left.
Planning
Friday 27 November is crowded: Tarkan plays Abu Dhabi the same night. See our Coca-Cola Arena guide for the venue, and buy through official channels only.
Arena or opera house
The venue changes the experience. Coca-Cola Arena holds about 17,000 people, according to Wikipedia, while Dubai Opera holds about 2,000, so a Dubai Opera date such as Prateek Kuhad's is far more intimate than Shaan's or Atif Aslam's arena shows. Prices also differ: the lowest category for Shaan is AED 150, against AED 350 for Atif Aslam according to The National, though Time Out Dubai reported a lower starting price for Atif Aslam earlier. Prices move with demand, so check the venue for what is left.
