Ras Al Khaimah
The highest peak in the UAE, a hilltop fort and the longest zipline in the world.
Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost of the main emirates, packs mountains, beach and heritage into a small area. Jebel Jais is the UAE's highest peak with the world's longest zipline, Dhayah Fort is the country's only hilltop fort, and the coast has long beaches and mangroves. The RAK Art festival runs from 22 January to 14 February 2027 at the Al Jazeera Al Hamra heritage village.
