Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026: dates, planning and where to stay

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is on 3 to 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island. Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism has announced the Yasalam concerts and an official after-party, covered in our concerts guide.

Ticket types, grandstand maps and hospitality are sold by the circuit and the official Formula 1 channels. We do not print prices, because they change by release.

It is the busiest week in Abu Dhabi. Hotels on Yas Island and Saadiyat fill months ahead, restaurant tables disappear and traffic around the island is slow on session days. National Day, on 2 and 3 December, lands immediately before, so the city is full for the whole stretch.

Stay on Yas Island if you want to walk to the circuit. Saadiyat or the city suit quieter evenings, if you are happy to take transfers. Allow a buffer on every journey during race week, both ways.

On Saadiyat, the new Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open on 11 December, and Louvre Abu Dhabi has three exhibitions running, so the island is worth a day either side of the race.
